Hey!

This is Rob writing my first post on isBrave.com.

First of all, why anonymous you ask?

Well to be completely honest, I'm still in the process of accepting my situation and my life today after my amputation. I really want to help people going through an amputation and/or their families who want to learn more about the life ahead. So that's why me and my best friend started IsBrave!

About 2.5 years ago, I underwent bilateral amputation below the knee due to an acute illness where I almost lost my life in the process.

The way back has been very long and many hurdles along the way, BUT I'm still VERY positive to life and foremost very happy to be alive!

So here I am, writing to you trying to educate you with my experience along the way.

I will try to keep my post educational, fun, serious, goofy, and so on 🙂

If you have any questions for me or other things you want to know please don't hesitate to ask and comment below on the post!

Take care and live your best life!
Rob
